Dear Group, Good morning. I recently got an Efratom PRFS202 Portable Rubidium Frequency Standard. Mint condition. Locking in 3 minutes or so. Outputs OK, both sine and TTL. It seems a simple straightforward instrument. Still I would like to know if anybody has a manual available for it. I tried looking for it online and no luck so far. This unit was marketed also using the Datum brand. Same model. Anybody has at least a brochure or general specs for this particular unit? Any experience or comments for this unit? I don't know about the '202' part, but here's a data sheet for the PRFS: http://www.gigatest.net/datum/PRFSDS.pdf The data sheet doesn't say which Rb oscillator is inside. Dear Ed, You just hit the nail in the head. That is exactly the unit I am talking about. But instead of showing Datum as the brand in the spec sheet you kindly sent to me, it says Efratom. With all those mergers among T&F companies who knows! I assume that the design is the same, unless someone tells me otherwise. At least I have the spec sheet. I hope I end up with a nice working unit as soon as I receive it. It should take a week or so to be delivered to me. Thank you! Thanks to Ed, I now have a general brochure and spec sheet. There it mentions an internal setting resolution (for frequency adjustment). It should be described in detail the manual. I kindly inquire again if someone has experience with the adjustment of this unit or has access to it's manual. I will be grateful for that. Thanks again.
