Hi everyone, here are the details for Sunday October 14, 2012:  It is at Sam's club, 207 County Road 120, St. Cloud MN, from 11-3. As of right now we have at least 4 dogs that can pull carts and give kids rides.  I will set up a small sample rally course for the dogs to practice on. (no previous experience need, great fun for both dogs and owners so we won't be bored and we can entertain at the same time) As always be prepared to meet and greet! The event is for pet awareness for the Humane Society. I think it will be fun to tailgate and socialize after so bring something to share. Thanks for the great response! Looking forward to seeing everyone. Susie Manke

Morning, Susan...
Burke and I were curious about the weekend of December 8&9th events.  We are not show folks but would surely love to observe and the bell ringing sounds fun.  We also would like to attend the club meeting.  When we went to the Sam's club event in St Cloud there was mention of a "newf friendly" motel  but I did not catch the name of it.  Will there be an email coming out with such details or can you clue Burke and I in on them?  Sounds like a fun weekend.
Hope you and yours are dealing with the shorter days and time change.  Chuckles has informed me that the change in meal time is NOT to his liking and we can switch back any time, the sooner the better.
thanks again,
Lorraine Zimmerman (and Burke)

Hi Lorraine, there are several motels in the area that accept dogs.  The Bestwestern Plus Kelly Inn is the one attached to the civic center where the dog shows will take place and just a block or 2 away from where the banquet will be held Saturday night ( cost per person is $25.00 you can contact me for reservations) The bell ringing will take place about 10 miles from there at the Gander Mountain store. The other motels in the area the Quality Inn, Super 8 Motel, Days Inn, Holiday Inn. I believe the Holiday Inn and the Quality Inn are a little closer to the bell ringing. In either case driving from one location to the other is fairly easy.  I believe Chris plans on having the club meeting just prior to the banquet.  The silent auction and the brown bag raffle will take place at the banquet. The auction and brown bag raffle are full of newfy items and dog related things that are donated by club members. Our Canada contingence will again be bringing the coveted bottle of Screech for auction, I have 2 quilts for auction and we have misc. books, mugs, etc so far.  We hope you can make it, we do have a lot of fun getting together.
