We have a 10'8" RIB and a 25 hp on it which we carry on davits on the back of our GB 36. The davits are by Atkins & Hoyle. They have lots of models and various ways of increasing strength and attachment stability if necessary. We have been very pleased with them on our vessel and on our sailboat before the trawler. We just purchased a set for ourselves after seeing them at the Toronto Boat Show to hoist a dory (fiberglass) and 4hp motor. They arrived by courier within 4 days and we can't wait (well, I guess we'll have to) to install them in the spring.
