View all threadsIf you used the automatic installer (via Puppet), it should have handled
all of the PostgreSQL configurations for you, did it not? Is something not
working properly?

CSpace Team,
I am setting up a CSpace server on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS for the Bolinas
Museum, and hit a bump in editing pg_hba.conf according to the directions
at https://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/DOC/Installing+on+Ubuntu+14.04
in the section titled Changes to PostgreSQL configuration files.
The first line of pg_hba.conf says, "# This file is managed by Puppet.
DO NOT EDIT.” I am not familiar with the Puppet module. Can you provide
instructions on adding the IPv4 and IPv6 rules through Puppet instead of
manually via vi editor?
I may have future questions as I complete the server setup, so please let
me know if this is the best way to address them or, if not, whom I should
contact.
Thank You,
Kevin
