IRONMAN LAKE PLACID 2022 UPDATE We're up to 8 athletes registered for next year's event, which is getting close to our highest participation levels of 10 in 2018 and 9 in 2015! Our current roster includes Eric Afre, Vince Bellino, Jon Crosby Don Mack, Chris Phillips, Doug Raab, David Stone, Jon Wesler. Anyone missing? Below is a link to a short one minute video that IRONMAN posted with some footage from last weekend's event that will give you a sense of what it is all about. We are planning to have a Zoom call sometime in the next 1-2 weeks for our athletes to meet as well as for anyone considering registering to have an opportunity to ask questions about it. An event will be posted once we have selected a date/time. Also, it seems that we may have a large support group joining us... perhaps our largest ever... There will be a lot of Gators in Lake Placid the weekend of July 22-24, 2022! If you have never been to an IRONMAN event and/or to Lake Placid, I highly recommend it... You will not be disappointed. There are amazing activities for your entire family and great chances to check out the swim, bike, and run courses over the weekend.
