Phil, one year we had Lippincott Marine in Grasonville winterize our boat. Well he did and against direct orders not to send any pink stuff through the Lectra-san they did. Springtime I flushed everything and the Lectra-San worked 2 weeks. A call to Raritan provided the advise to change the electrode pack as it had seen the pink stuff and it will take the coating off the electrodes. New electrode pack was installed and everything worked untill next spring. I removed the top to get to the electrode pack and I saw pink stuff in the stream coming from the freshwater tank. New pack! Now raritan tells me that all I have to do is vacuum the Lectrasan through the plug on top. Have not had a problem since. Hans ( deckhand on Peggy's boat)
