We have been cruising the Bahamas and Florida for the last 9 years and have decided to go a little larger, so our 1984 Marine Trader 44 sundeck is for sale.
In the last 9 years, several improvements and upgrades have been completed. Our cruising has been mainly in the winter months, so the vessel has been shrink-wrapped every summer, with fans and dehumidifier running from May to October.
The boat is also harmonically fishing friendly as 2 marlin were hooked up this spring in the Bahamas.
Some of the changes in the last few years are as follows:
Teak decks removed, holes filled and re-glassed, awlgripped; holding tanks added with y-valves, mast and boom added for dinghy launching, super structure painted and re-caulked, A/C in salon, furniture in salon, Norcold refrigerator, stainless rub rails, rudder and cutless bearings repacked, props re-tuned, TV, electronics.
