My Dad used to use WD40, Armoral or such to clean & preserve his windshield
wiper blades. Any recommendations from the list?

I think putting anything on a wiper blade is risky.
A friend once put Armorall on the wiper blades of his car, The first
time he had to use them it made a smeary mess on his windshield that was
hell to get off.
He had to replace the blades twice and finally used denatured alcohol
on the windshield to clear it.

I used Rain-X for years on the boat and mostly on my vehicles. Saves the
wipers so much you don't need them...
