Last summer the sailing publication, Southwinds, started a free ad service for finding crew, or for crew looking for boats. Unfortunately, I only found out about it in November, when I was a week away from departure time when I placed an ad looking for crew. I received several email offers after I made the trip I had planned, and which we did short-handed! I'm pretty sure that you can find crew for your trip if you use this free service.
