11/26/09 - Winchester, Winchester Rd, 1/10 mile south of Parker Hill
Rd -- Northern Shrike at 2:30 p.m.

From Frank & Linda Mantlik:
11/26/09 - Middlebury, Rt. 64, Lake Quassapaug -- We enjoyed scope
views of the continuing PACIFIC LOON from 3-3:30pm as viewed from the
(private) Quassy Amusement Park beach.  The water was quite calm, and
lighting was excellent, though the loon was too far for any better
photos.
11/26/09 - Stratford, Stratford Point -- 1 COMMON EIDER, 1 NORTHERN
GANNET, the continuing distant flock of White-winged Scoters & surf
scoters now totalling 1000.

11/26/09 - Windsor, Northwest Park -- 8:30-9:00 Juvenile RED-HEADED
WOODPECKER continues at the woodchip pile.

11/26/09 - New Hartford, Maple Hollow Swamp and Grezyck's Farm -- 1
Winter Wren.
New Hartford, Cotton Hill Rd -- Ruffed Grouse drumming.

11/25/09 - Middlebury, Lake Quassapaug -- PACIFIC LOON still present;
seen from the beach of Quassy Amusement Park from 1245-1330 hrs.

11/25/09 - Windsor, Northwest Park - Winter Wren on Rainbow Reservoir
trail & Brown Creeper on Bog trail. (No Red-headed Woodpecker seen
anywhere).

11/25/09 - Windsor, Northwest Park --  Juv RED-HEADED WOODPECKER
approx 13.00-14.00 moving around in trees and calling throughout by
barn and furthest sign into Brookside Trail as described in previous
posts.

11/25/09 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 3 COMMON EIDER, 1 KING
EIDER.
