From Dana Campbell and friends: 09/12/14 - New Haven, Lighthouse Point Park, Hawk watch -- 3 PEREGRINE FALCONS, 1 Common Nighthawk, 25 Bobolink. From Angela Dimmitt: 09/11/14 - Litchfield, Cemetery Pond -- 2 solitary sandpipers; Blue-winged Teal. From Doug Beach: 09/11/14 - Simsbury -- A concentrated flock of 26 (twenty-six) Common Ravens, first spotted by Sam Fried at 6:45 PM, soaring over Talcott Mountain; approximately one-quarter mile north of Wintonbury Road. The birds circled in the same location for at least 15 minutes before settling into the trees just after 7:00 PM.
