The Canal Corp. voted on a plan which would offer recreational boaters free use of the system this year! " The fee waiver was announced as part of a sweeping plan that includes $10 million in projects, including greenways and capital investments, along the canals in the coming year. " -(postandard:Douglas Dowty) We ( Winter Harbor) as well as many others think this is a fantastic step in welcoming boaters back into the Erie Canal ways.
