From Greg Hanisek, Bill Banks: 08/13/14 - Guilford, Shell Beach -- 1 STILT SANDPIPER. (We arrived at 7:30 and did not find the phalaropes.) From Bill Asteriades and Sara Zagorski: 08/13/14 - Rocky Hill, Rocky Hill Meadows - 2 SANDERLING (unusual inland) and 6 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER. From Dan and Danny Rottino: 08/13/14 - Old Lyme, Hawk's Nest Marsh -- 4:30 PM; the immature WHITE IBIS was seen (in the usual company of several snowy egrets). The water was high, and additional shorebirds were present following the storm compared to what I have seen before.
