Encouraged by winning the National Safety Poster Contest, Mark began his
freelancing career at the age of eight. At thirteen, he opened his first
business, Monlux Murals & Sculpture. After graduating with a BA in Graphic Arts
in 1985, he entered the professional field of graphic design, advertising, and
publishing. He has continued to win awards for his artistic efforts and
community volunteer work. The “Ask Mark” column has been a regular feature of
the Graphic Artists Guild for years. Literally hundreds of clients have
contracted with Mark and his artwork has appeared in nearly all forms of media.
A short list of recent clients includes Met Life, Microsoft, Rockwell Collins,
and Colgate-Palmolive.
