We have finally arrived in Mobile and are staying at the Dog River Marina. It is great and the trip to date has been spectacular. We are the 38 foot trawler Chinook and we started i southern Georgian Bay on August 28. Two months to get to Mobile without haste! The question is...........does anyone have any recent experience (last week) with the marinas in Pensacola, Panama City, Destin to Clearwater.....and the state of the waterway. The various updates from others have been very helpful but now they are out of date as I understand things are changing daily. What would be a reasonable next step from Dog River assuming we are travelling in good weather at about 10 knots and want to be at a dock by late afternoon. Please advise.
