From Scott Baron:
12/26/11 - Stratford, Long Beach -- 1 AMERICAN BITTERN flying north
over the se. corner of the marsh before landing.
Shelton -- 1 BLACK VULTURE seen over Rt 8, .3 mile north of exit 13.
Seymour -- 3 BLACK VULTURES over Rt 8, .3 mile south of exit 22.

From Jack Swatt:
12/26/11 - East Hartford, Hockanum River Linear Park -- 1 WINTER WREN,
1 BROWN CREEPER.  Unable to relocate the RHWO.  Brown creeper was seen
at the exact spot that Jamie Meyers posted for the RHWO on 12/24.
Winter wren was seen at the first fork north of the Elm Street parking
area.

From Paul Cianfaglione:
12/25-26/11 - Canton, Canton Yard -- 2 AMERICAN WOODCOCK aerial
display and twittering.

From Diane Barney Bontecou:
12/25/11 - Stratford, Lordship Blvd, Sikorsky Airport -- Snowy Owl
flying over the airport field.  It went over the marshes toward Long
Beach, but then I couldn't see it any more.

From Scott Kruitbosch:
12/25/11 - Stratford, Stratford Point -- one SNOW BUNTING.
Raven Park Pond -- a pair of NORTHERN PINTAIL continue.

From Tina Green:
12/25/11 - Westport, Burying Hill Beach -- 200 White-winged Scoters, 1
Razorbill.
Sherwood Mill Pond Preserve -- Eurasian Wigeon continues.

From Jamie Meyers:
12/24/11 - East Hartford, Hockanum River Trail, accessed from Elm St
entrance -- first-winter RED-HEADED WOODPECKER continues.  Also, there
was a singing (!) WINTER WREN near the parking area.  Take the path
that goes north (left) from the parking area, down a hill then at the
fork take the right fork and follow it to a boardwalk.  The woodpecker
this morning was about 300 yards from the beginning of the boardwalk,
just beyond a point where there is a short stretch of the boardwalk
that has handrails (most of it doesn't).  There is a fallen tree over
the boardwalk at this point.  The boardwalk takes a sharp right turn
at this point as well.

From Paul Wolter:
12/24/11 - Madison, Hammonasset Beach SP -- 2 Razorbills to east of
Meigs Pt breakwater, 1 Common Eider drake, 1 Purple Sandpiper.

From Mike Horn:

Goose at the south end of the West Beach parking lot.

From Ray Belding:
