Smog and haze with heavy rain from 1pm to 3pm then clearing.
Raptor Observations:
2 Bald Eagles and 1 Merlin migrated through today
Non-raptor Observations:
2 Sandhill Cranes circled over the tower for 7 minutes at 11:30am then
headed west. Migrants included Wood Thrush, Swainson's Thrush, Baltimore
Oriole, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Gray Catbird and Purple Martin.
Predictions:
Migration is winding down. Expect more Sharp-shinned Hawks.
