Hi all

I'm very newbe to USRP And I I want to ckeck one issue to select my
device

I want to handle FPGA inside and GRC/RFNoC looks best for me, and E310

But I think E310 don't have EXT ref in, and internal ref is TCXO

It's not goot for my application I need short term stability as OCXO

Another solutionis the GPSDO Can it be the solution for me?

I want to know the current software and hardware reliability

You may want to look at the datasheet

https://www.ettus.com/content/files/USRP_E310_Datasheet.pdf https://www.ettus.com/content/files/USRP_E310_Datasheet.pdf

and the Ettus knowledge base. There is a GPS receiver and a sync line to work with for timing needs.

The hardware reliability is a hard question because you have to specify the range of operating conditions and environments, then work up some form of analysis. There are many approaches and you may well end up doing some Monte Carlo analysis, but that is a pile of work.

From time to time bugs crop up in the firmware, but in my experience the firmware is pretty good and works as advertised. Any software you write is as reliable as you make it.

Hope you have fun with the E310.
