Chipping Sparrow in Ridgefield.

Also, a Cooper's pinning a male Flicker to the ground in the yard right in front of me.  The Flicker took a surprisingly long time to die, struggling sporadically for almost 10 minutes.  At one point, it almost escaped.  I'd have expected the Coop's scythe-like talons to make quicker work of the kill.
