Subject: GL: Boat Name Removal

Hello All,

I
need to remove the old name from the boat to make room for the new name.
Black
paint on white fiberglass gelcote.  It seems to me that I read some
where that
using Easy Off oven cleaner works best, but it needs to be
unscented variety.
Do I have the facts straight, and is there anything
special I should know
about, about doing this project.  Any & all suggestions
will be greatly
appreciated.

Yes, Easy Off works on gelcoat and two part poly paints to
remove a name. Been using it for decades. Never worried about scented or not.
Test on a small area. YMMV.
