Thanks for your input on our member survey! The survey is now closed and
your club leadership team is already meeting tonight (Monday 1/10) to
review the input and factor it into planning for 2022 and beyond! So
what's happening this week?...
Reminders:
• 2022 Gators Registration: Registration for the club for 2022 remains
open... See the post under "Featured" for details and a link.
• Hat and Visor Pickup: First come, first serve, if you have not already
received your new Gators hat or visor, please catch up with Don Mack. Great
options this week include Monday night at the swim workout (I'm not
attending, but will be at the Y for a meeting and can drop it off to you at
the pool... post a comment if this works for you) and at the Thursday night
swim workout that I will be coaching.
GFC Roll Call! This week's Gator Fitness Challenge "Roll Call" covers week
1 (January 3-9), which is week 1 of the winter GFC... If you completed at
least one of the two challenges, please post a comment...
• "SBR" if you completed the Swim/Bike/Run Challenge (40 minutes of each)
AND/OR...
• "SCF" if you completed the Strength/Core/Flexibility Challenge (45
minutes total of any combination) AND/OR...
• "Both" if you were a week 1 superstar and completed both challenges!
Weekly Workouts: We have an array of options for you this week...
• Monday 1/10, 6:15pm: Club officers meeting with Spring Valley YMCA
staff... If you have any input for this meeting, please contact any of our

• Wednesday 1/12, 6pm: Run workout coached by Karen Dunn... Watch for an

• Wednesday 1/12, 7:30pm-8:15pm: Zwift cycling meetup... This time in

• Saturday 1/15, 8am-9:15am: Zwift cycling meetup... We'll be riding the
new Watopia "Legends and Lava" route... You can join us for the entire 90
minutes or for a shorter period. Also, Don Mack is planning to ride for
1:45 in case anyone would like to continue for additional time beyond the
