I'm working on building a network of local businesses in Tacoma/Pierce County that are interested in selling local art on consignment AND a talent pool of people who have art and handmade goods to sell. Before I can gauge the value of providing access to this network, I need to do a test run so I'm offering this free one month trial to artists. If you would like to try this out, and bare with me while I figure out the details, send pictures of your work (as it would look while displayed) to angela.jossy@gmail.com by Friday Jan. 14th. Quality presentation matters so we need the photograph of your work to show the business owner exactly what they can expect to see hanging on their wall or sitting on their counter top. I will make an online image gallery for the business owners to peruse and make selections from. There is no guarantee that your art will be selected for this trial or by any of the businesses in the network (remember this is a trial run!) but if one of the businesses requests your work, you will be notified and given a chance to accept or decline the offer to have them sell it for you on consignment.
