Free concerts for kids every Tuesday

The fourth season of Playground Express free family concerts
began July 7th, to be followed by five more consecutive Tuesday
events at Wright Park at 501 South I Street in Tacoma.  The activities begin at 10:30 am with face
painting and juggling, to be followed by a different act each week, as
follows:  July 14th Jim
Valley;  July 21st Alley Oop;
July 28th Cowboy Buck & Elizabeth; August 4th Mr.
Mario and the Secret Circus; August 11th The Clay Martin
Puppets.  The series was awarded a
Tacoma Arts Commission Arts Project funding for the third year.  The first concert, by the Fabulous Filucies,
was attended by 180 people, including preschools from Federal Way, Tacoma, and
Auburn.  For more information call Mario

organizer of the events.
