BARNACLE GOOSE (Durham): Presumably the bird found March 30 at Bowmanville
Westside Marshes CA (which was presumably one of the two found there March
16) was seen by several observers on April 8 in a flooded field off of Hold
Rd, north of Nash Rd.
Eurasian Wigeon (Chatham-Kent): The male found by Reuven Martin in Rondeau
Bay on March 31 continued to at least April 11.
Eurasian Wigeon (Frontenac): Meghan Hatch found a male at Milburn Creek NCC
property on April 7 that was seen by several other obeservers to at least
April 9.
Eurasian Wigeon (THUNDER BAY): J. Gvora found one in Thunder Bay on April
9, presumably the same bird found by Brady Mills the next day at Chippewa
Lagoons that was seen by several others to at least April 11.
Eurasian x American Wigeon (hybrid) (Norfolk): A male was reported by
several observers off LPBO's Old Cut field station April 8 that continued
to at least April 10.
Green-winged Teal (EURASIAN x American) (Prescott and Russell): Jon Ruddy
reported a male at Alfred Sewage Lagoons on April 11.
TUFTED DUCK x scaup sp. (hybrid) (Toronto): The male bird found February 9
off Tommy Thompson Park continued to at least April 9.
Eared Grebe (Essex): The bird found by Jacob Stasso off Holiday Beach CA
March 29 continued to at least April 7.
Western Grebe (Halton): Bob Curry found one off LaSalle Park on April 9
that was seen by several other observers the same day.
BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): Mark Bakelaar found one at Strathroy Sewage
Lagoons on April 9 that was seen by many to at least April 11.
Pacific Loon (Halton/Hamilton): The one found by Keith Dieroff at Yacht
Club harbour on December 4 was reported off LaSalle Park to at least April
10.
NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Lambton): Deryl Nethercott photographed one off
Canatara Park on APril 6.
Black Vulture (Niagara): Three birds were reported from Beamer CA on April
7 while a a single bird was reported this week from Queenston.
Black Vulture (Northumberland): David Britton reported one over Brighton on
April 7. Tim and Jeremy Logan photographed one at McGlennon Point on April
8.
Black Vulture (Toronto): Ann and Erle Brokelman photographed one over
Scarborough on April 6.
Black-billed Magpie (CHATHAM-KENT): Two birds continued this week from the
Shrewsbury area.
Townsend's Solitaire (Huron): Max Segler photographed one flying past the
lakeshore north of Grand Bend on April 9.
BULLOCK'S ORIOLE (Toronto): One bird, which has apparently been present
since January 7 and identified the week of February 23 around the SW end of
High Park continued to at least April 11.
