Seen by 3 observers at 10 a.m., 5/7, same area at East Rock Park as previously reported, about halfway between covered bridge and dam on west side, best seen from parking lot.

Interesting. The one i saw last night had quite a bit of green on the
crown suggesting female (or young male?). Others have reported a male,
and Flo said that some folks heard it singing.

Were the two associating? Could we have a pair?

They use nestboxes.  Might be worth putting some up...with the permission of landowners only of course!

Thanks Patrick,  Steve Broker came in this afternoon and I donated one and he insisted on buying one too so there will be two houses put up for them asap.  I put portals on them with 1 1/8" openings on them so hopefully it will keep out any house sparrows.  Let's keep our fingers crossed!

They actually observed them within 2' of each other and one picking up nesting type materials so who knows!!
