This is posted on behalf of Dennis Garratt, of Ottawa:

At about 10.00 am on June 16, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo was seen on Highway 7
about 1/2 Km west of Dwyer Hill Rd. (between Dwyer Hil Rd. and Carleton
Place). It was seen flying across the highway (North-South) and landed in a
brushy area where it was also observed.

Dwyer Hill Road intersects Highway 7 about 10 Km east of Carleton Place on
the way to Ottawa.
