Note: There were only negative reports - morning and afternoon - about
the Harlequin Duck today. Also a negative on the Black Brant from a
late afternoon search. (But keep reading!)

01/26/10 - Greenwich, Greenwich Point Park -- a Glossy Ibis around
4:30 PM. It was feeding along the western edge of the big pool (the
one with the Osprey nest on the statue).

01/26/10 - New Canaan, near Pound Ridge -- Dovekie found by a dog and
brought in for rehab. No apparent injuries, and the bird is bright
and alert by evening.

01/26/10 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- while attempting to
focus on the COMMON EIDERS off the Meigs Point jetty, I picked up a
JAEGER sp farther out over a very rough LI Sound.

very close(finally!).
South Cove -- 11 BONAPARTE'S GULLS.
