This weekend and extending into early next week we have 13 Gators competing in 4 events ranging from a 5K run to an offroad triathlon to a couple of OWS events! And just a reminder that there are 3 club workout options available to you this weekend... • Saturday, 8:30am, Blue Marsh Lake: It appears that we'll have spectacular weather, so swim and bike with us at our first of six planned Blue Marsh outings! Note that we are swimming in a new location due to construction at the Dry Brooks Day Use Area where we usually swim. Saturday 5/15 • "Way Over Yonder" USA Triathlon Off Road National Championships (Hewitt, NJ)... Chris Townsley is back at it for a second straight weekend of offroad challenges! Go Chris! Sunday 5/16: • Steelman Racing's "Open Water Classic" (Downingtown, PA): Club sponsor Steelman Racing offers the first in a series of three OWS races with this one taking place at Marsh Creek... Gators participating include Maureen Hoffman (1mi), Cindy Kelecic (1mi), Sean Lodge (2mi), Shawn O'Malley (1mi) plus Dre Barber, Sheri Kuss, and Logan Washburn will each be swimming 1 mile as part of a team! Gina Stango and Jeffrey Stango will also be working at the event as volunteers! • Run to the Taproom 5K (Parkesburg, PA): Lynn Berkhimer-Seuberling will have lots of incentive to get to the finish line at Victory Brewing to try out their new Brotherly Love IPA! Tuesday 5/18: • French Creek Racing OWS Race #1 (Norristown, PA): Club sponsor French Creek Racing kicks off it's 6 race 1/2 mile OWS series in a great local spot. And this year there are also options to compete in multisport fashion, including a virtual tri, and a 5K run! Gators participating include Chris Acosta, Don Mack, David Stone, and Chris Townsley!
