.Am I correct in reading you that
Village Marine have an outlet/dealer in La

Paz?

No, that is not correct.  VilMar corporate office is in Gardena, CA.  I
say it would be convenient for you if your boat is located in Avalon.

I am
moving my boat from Costa Baja marina to Marina de La Paz on November1.
Southern California marina prices have come to La Paz.  Costa Baja marina is
now charging $15 to $20 per foot per foot plus electricity and water.  Marinas
in San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo are charging $30 to $40 per foot per
month.  Four or five years ago, you could get marina space in a Paz for $5 to
$10 per foot.  Mexico is no longer the bargain it used to be.  Even diesel
fuel which was $2 per gallon is being allowed to float in price by the Mexican
government over the next two years until it reaches parity with world market
pricing.
