First, thanks to everyone who responded with suggestionfor my generator issue.
I receivedsuggestions from eighteen people b all were insightful and
helpful.  Some were actually physic given the erroneousstatement of
circumstances I thought were present.  Thatbs where the confession comes in
b turns outthere was not bplenty water going through the sea water sideb
since I hadimproperly installed the impeller (key came out so it was not
turning, therefore not pumping).  Once diagnosedit still took me a long time to
fix.  Theimpeller face plate is six inches from a bulkhead and after many
tries I lostthe key (anyone know where these things can go that drop into the
bilge and canbtbe found), and had to fashion one that was close (but too
large) with agrinding wheel.  The only way I got itinstalled properly was to
take off the water pump.  Of course, now the seal on the pump needs tobe
replaced in it, but at least I know water is moving through the sea waterside
(and the engine does not overheat ! ! ! ! ! !).  Once I get the parts, I will
probably have toask questions about how to install the seal properly !  Itbs
good to know there are knowledgeablepeople out there who have bbeen there,
done thatb or seen it done and arewilling to help the rest of us.

Thanks again for the good pointers and encouragement.  Those of you who
figured it out even with thefalse information provided deserve an extra
celebratory beverage this evening.
