03/12/14 - Madison, Hammonasset Beach State Park -- 8:30 to 10:30 AM;
Snowy Owl seen from the end of the Moraine Trail. Seen as I looked up
river and on the left side. The bird was perched up on a log and
probably well seen from the Cedar Island platform. There was also a
Fox Sparrow sunning in the cedars in the rotary.

of the Farm River/Long Island Sound -- 8:45 to 9:30 AM; 1 Drake (full
adult) Eurasian Wigeon observed against Darrow Rocks.

continues, seen in the marsh.

03/12/14 - Stratford -- A Snowy Owl still remains in the marshes near
the entrance booth to Long Beach. It was easily visible, since all but
a trace of the ice and snow was gone from the marsh.

Snipe.

same location. Incoming tides seem to be the best time for viewing.
