11/09/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 3:15 PM; Lark Sparrow
under cedar grove on north edge of Swan Pond.

11/09/14 - Middlefield, Lyman Orchard -- Yellow-headed Blackbird by
the pond at 11:00 AM.

From Stefan Martin:
11/09/14 - Greenwich, Rockwood Reservoir -- 1 Juv White-rumped
Sandpiper feeding alone.

11/09/14 - Middlefield, Lyman Orchard -- a juvenile "blue" Snow Goose
Sunday morning, just before the Yellow-headed Blackbird showed up (10
minutes after I left).

11/09/14 - Greenwich, Quaker Ridge -- Juv Goshawk seen extremely well
around 1:30, heading SW.

11/09/14 - Coventry, Coventry Lake -- 3 Lesser Scaup.
Storrs, UConn, Valentines Meadow, (Across the road from the  stable)
-- 5 Wilson's Snipe on the edges of the largest puddle, east? end  of
the field.

11/09/14 - Old Lyme, Great Island -- adult Peregrine Falcon, 2
"Ipswich" Savannah Sparrow, 9 Snow Bunting.

11/09/14 - Stratford, Long Beach -- apparent hybrid adult LESSER
BLACK-BACKED x HERRING GULL, 19 SNOW BUNTING, and one possible
"Cassiar" Dark-eyed Junco.
East Haven, Proto Dr -- ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER.

11/08/14 - Litchfield, Chestnut Hill, hawk watch -- 1 Golden Eagle, 1
Northern Goshawk.

11/09/14 - Sterling yard feeders -- started my 19th season of Project
Feederwatch this weekend. Some highlights: FOX SPARROW, PURPLE FINCH,
YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER (on suet / peanut feeder). Also had a flyover
PINE SISKIN.

11/08/14 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- 2 BROWN CREEPERS,
immature WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW.

11/08/14 - Barkhamsted yard -- Pine Siskins are still passing thru
with 3 separate flocks; one had ~25 flying low over my house.  At dusk
had 13(!) Fox Sparrows seen at one time. I knew their numbers have
been building from the 6 seen on Friday.
