There will be dance classes to observe, multi-media art installations to take in, and open rehearsals at the end of the day. It will be a beautiful day of dancing. WA 98409 www.barefootcallous.org barefootstudios@harbornet.com Studio Tours November 8 & 9, 2008 10 am - 4 pm 38 locations around Tacoma 2008 marks the 7th anniversary of the Art at Work studio tours, featuring 61 artists and 2 schools. The tours allow the general public the opportunity to see the spaces in and tools with which local artists create their work. It is also a chance to watch demonstrations, ask artists questions, purchase one-of-a-kind creations and, in some cases, even try your hand at creating your own masterpiece. Back by popular demand: Each artist and studio will be giving away a limited number of collectible artist cards, which, when assembled together, create a house of cards. Each card features an image of the artists’ work and information about the artist. Visit each studio on the tour to collect the entire set of cards.
