Sparrow question..why all the noise?

Worked in my yard most of the afternoon. I have a large flock of sparrows
that comes to the feeder and forages in the garden. They are mostly House
Sparrows and a few Song Sparrows, now joined by several lovely White Throated
Sparrows.  Well today they were so absolutely noisy that it was borderline
annoying.

Have the new arrivals upset the balance?

House Sparrows can be very noisy in flocks.  I recall one ivy-covered wall I used to pass in the early evening that was full of House Sparrows and an absolute racket as I walked by.  What was funny was that if I stopped walking it was instant silence, the noise not returning until I continued walking.
