Looks like we will have to change our plans. The Erie canal may be closed
the rest of the season. if so, we'll go the other way via Chicago.
What charts/chartbook are best for the Chicago to Mobile run? Already have
it on the plotter, need paper.

Thnx
Ed

Only one choice.....Corps of Engineers Charts.

Go here for Illinois and Upper Miss;
http://www2.mvr.usace.army.mil/NIC2/default.cfm. Click on Nav Charts. You
can download.

Go to Corps of Engineers Louisville District for Ohio River, Corps of
Engineers Nashville  for Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers. You can download.

Go to Corps of Engineers Mobile District for Tenn-Tom. Hard copy only.

I download the CoE charts, print them at a Fedex or other office place and
then have them laminate them.

They print on large stock 14x17 paper.
