4/10 Orange,
Earlier this week I visited Old Tavern Rd recreation fields to see if the
ospreys had returned (which they had). However their nest on the light pole
from the previous year had been taken down.
I visited again this morning. The male osprey was bringing in several
branches, and the nest  looks impressive so far.
Even the house sparrows are hanging around under it again.  The male was
calling after bringing in the branches. did not see the female this morning.
the Eastern Towhee was on the ground under my feeders this morning and
again this evening.  A hen turkey was visiting again along with my regular
customers.
