From Angela Dimmitt:
09/26/13 - New Milford private property near Housatonic -- CONNECTICUT
WARBLER, good long look, a 1st CT bird for me!

From Ryan MacLean with Al Welby:
09/26/13 - Greenwich, Audubon Greenwich -- our second (!!!)
CONNECTICUT WARBLER of the season today.  He found the bird around
5:30 PM when it flew across the path from the Orchard towards the
Intern House. He then came up to the hawkwatch to notify me and I
followed him back down to the orchard. We refound the bird in the
thickets behind the Intern House near the beehives where it gave us
killer prolonged views.  To get to this spot, walk down the paved
driveway until you reach the trail on your left immediately after the
white Intern House (the Red Barn/Old Center is on the right). Once
you've walked past the house you'll see a bunch of porcelainberry
thickets and beehives on your left. This is where the bird was last
seen. Perhaps it will stick around until the morning considering how
late in the day it was found.

From Paul Cianfaglione:
09/26/13 - Hartford, Riverside Park Pond -- 5 PECTORAL SANDPIPER, 1
SOLITARY SANDPIPER, 3 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER, 1 immature BLACK-CROWNED
NIGHT-HERON.

From Tina Green with AJ & Sue Hand:
09/26/13 - Westport, Sherwood Island SP -- 1 Nelson's Sparrow and 6
Saltmarsh Sparrows, FOS adult male White-crowned Sparrow, absolutely
stunning!  The Saltmarsh Sparrows were all teed up and feeding on the
spartina lit by the morning sun allowing for excellent views.

From David Lawton:
09/26/13 - Avon yard -- various flocks of migrants passed through,
including SWAINSON'S THRUSH, BAY-BREASTED WARBLER and PHILADELPHIA
VIREO.

From Tina Green:
09/26/13 - Westport, Sherwood Island SP -- 5:20 to 6:30 PM; 1
White-winged Scoter, my first of the season, seen landing on the
water, then in flight heading west.

 From Roy Harvey:
09/26/13 - Derby, Osbornedale State Park -- 1 Wilson's Warbler.
