The Western Tanager at Hammonasset State Park in Madison was seen off
and on over the course of the morning. I don' think it was ever an
easy bird to see today (it certainly was not when I was there).

Grosbeaks, 2 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS.

by some of those searching for the Western Tanager.

and numbered easily 100-150 birds.
Beardlsey Park -- LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL.

feeder. Appears to have been a male of the Greenland subspecies,
though I am no expert. I believe this is a first for my yard.
