One must be prepared to go overside and clear a fouled wheel IMHO.
Distasteful to me as I am not a diver, and I don't much care to be in a place
where
the fish have sharper teeth than I. But I am prepared to do it. I just  don't
like the odds - it will be on a rough day because those oily smooth  windless
days are few and far-between.

Regards,

John
"Seahorse"

On our Atlantic crossing, another Nordhavn did wrap a net around its'

prop,  and ran for days to shore on the wing engine alone. [They did try to
cut off  the net, but weren't able to]
