The Center for Childhood Creativity will share their research-backed framework describing how adults can create intentional experiences that support children’s creative problem solving skills. The workshop will focus on risk-friendly learning: what it means, how to support it in your library, and why it is important for children and youth experiences. Many of the ideas that will be described in this workshop are also relevant for older children, teens and adults. We are offering two April workshops (one north and one south) and travel assistance and backfill funds are available.
