There is a software hack to disable the lowpass filter in the units to turn the 50 MHz one into a 100 MHz one. Apparently no difference in hardware. The procedure is one the WEB. I bought one of these at Hamvention and have been pleased. No, I haven't taken the time to do the hack. N0UU
