Hope you're planning to join our first 2020 season Sunday races this weekend. (PHRF RACING RSVP, not required, just convenient.)

NBC Sunday PHRF Racing

As you can see from the Sunday NoR and Sunday PHRF SI, there will be a 1:30 p.m. PHRF start every Sunday throughout the balance of the NBC season (July 5 through Oct 11). Any NBC member or guest with a valid 2020 HRYRA PHRF is welcome to compete.

Note, the SI's provide a single PHRF start. The past few years, all Sunday PHRF racers have raced JaM (Jib and Main, aka Non-Spinnaker), and we've calculated PHRF adjusted times using their Non-Spinnaker W/L PHRF ratings. If two or more boats would like to race with spinnakers, and use the Spinnaker courses in the SI, please contact me so we can be sure the race results are reported to score easily and accurately.

NBC Cruising Fleet Series*

Cruising Fleet members may compete in a Sunday Short Series based on their results in NBC Sunday PHRF races every other Sunday, starting with July 5th (so July 5, July 19, Aug 2, Aug 16, Aug 30). Only these Sunday PHRF races will be counted for awards in the Sunday Short Series and the Cruising Fleet Champion Series.

*Cruising Fleet memberships on sale in 2020 ($0). If you're not already a Cruising Fleet member and want to compete in our 2020 series, ACT NOW (apply on-line to join the Fleet). You may join the 2020 Cruising Fleet for $0, but you will be expected to fulfill fleet member duties.
