Guys,

Those who are eating at Industrial Eats:
(Others: please ignore this email)

We have couple of choices.

  1. Get our own room, select set of dishes, family style, one bill, divide equally by number of people. We need to decide set of entrees.

OR

  1. Everyone orders their own, pay for their food, sit at the main room. No reservation. No separate room.

Richard Myers is familiar with this place.
See below his suggestions and let me know your opinion.

Thanks,
Murali

Hello Murali,

I called them when I got your text. I knew about the adjoining room, and it is a good idea for our party in the sense that food will come out to all quickly. Under the normal routine, people line up and order separately, and food is not delivered quickly! However, I imagine it would still be possible for any gourmands to wander next door and order anything particular on their own - you should probably stress that each participant will owe for a share of the group bill!

Choosing items is hard. They are well known for their small artisan pizzas, and there is a list on their website. The fennel sausage is one of our favorites, but they also do a few excellent ones without meat. I also highly recommend the Khachipuri, which is a Georgian bread made with egg and cheese. The salads are fantastic, and most are meat free. The seafood is all local, and listed on their website, but I hate suggesting seafood for people (some love it, some hate it).

They always have seasonal specials. I recommend their chanterelle mushrooms (home grown) served with white wine, butter, and thyme. They always have some fish caught that day.

Look at the website, and think it through. Although I didn't recognize her voice on the phone, I think I talked to Janet, who is one of the owners (with her husband Jeff). If you need to call her directly, remember it'sunder my name - although I'm certain we are her only large party that day!
