..and to this day you can see the 2 PWC's idling in circles waiting for
their riders to return ;-)

We love that we currently live in a Country where PWC's are illegal. They
are treated as contraband the same as guns, drugs & crossbows! If you have
any of the above on board when you clear into the BVI they must be declared
and turned over to Customs or locked up and sealed till departure. If found
aboard and not declared then Customs will take your boat/yacht.

This goes along way to keeping the country peaceful and safe for us cruising
folks :-)

about such legislation. Many northern countries would love to have
them!

Yes George, it is really true :-) With two exceptions. Two watersports
operators are grandfathered. One in Tortola's Cane Garden Bay & one in North
Sound, Virgin Gorda.

Now if you had warm clear water, bright sun, clean air, a white sand with
coconut tress AND lots of money 'maybe' you could have a government official
or two from here ;-)
