My preference is for propane! I prefer cooking with gas under any circumstances. I have no problems with propane on board. I do have a strong fan above the stove which I hopefully remember to cclose outside when cleaning the boat!.  I have not used the oven though my gourmet 'crew' friend has. It is smaller than the one on my first boat and is European and registers metrically (I don't!) I only have (2) 10 lb tanks and have no problem running out. I also have a wonderful PARKER grill on deck. My dealer's wife had an accident dropping a vase on the electric glass cook top on board their 'show boat'. Disaster!!! I also TE cleaning those glass tops, something always seems to boil over and not be removed easily if at all.
