I was thinking of heading up to see the reported gallinule at Great Hallow Lake, Monroe. Any updates?

Monroe birder Janet Holt looked for the Gallinule both early this morning and early-mid afternoon, and was unable to find it. Janet knew where it was sleeping/hiding yesterday.
