I need the diameter of the die for a wire crimper that crimps AWG 00 wire. Can anyone help? I purchased a hydraulic wire crimper from Harbor Freight Tools. The dies are supposed to crimp from number 12 to 00 AWG wire. However, the dies are not the correct sizes as stated. Harbor Freight (after I contacted them) sent me replacement dies. The replacement dies are the same as those that came with the crimper. I am going to enlarge the dies to work with 1/0 and 2/0 wire and lugs but I do not know the correct size to use to enlarge the dies. Thanks in advance.
