This time around we have 8 athletes competing in four events in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Tennessee including a fast turnaround for last weekend's IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship participants! Before we get to that, a few notes and reminders... • Nominations for Gators 2022-23 officer positions are being accepted until this Sunday 9/26... See Kerri Brannen's post under "Announcements" for more details. • Gator Fitness Challenge registration is now open! Our 13 week fall GFC begins on Monday 10/4... Are you in? If not and you'd like to be, just post an "I'm in!" comment and we'll add you to the roster! See details under "Announcements". • Gators of the Month: Congratulations to Brittany Acosta and Shawn O'Malley, our September Gators of the month! An interview with Brittany is posted under "Announcements" and we'll be putting one together with Shawn sometime soon. • Sunday Swim: We will be offering our weekly Sunday uncoached swim workout at the Spring Valley YMCA's indoor lap pool between 11:15am-12:15pm. And here's what is on tap for our weekend events!... Saturday, September 25: • Bike MS: City to Shore Ride (New Jersey): This ride begins in Cherry Hill and ends at the beach and there will be three Gators taking on the 100 mile challenge including Joe DeNicola, Susan Flavin, and Michael Metry! • SPONSOR EVENT... Carpe Vino Run Fest (Stockton, NJ): This event is directed by Scoogie Events and includes Scoogie's first half marathon plus 5k road and trail races and a kid's fun run! • York White Rose Run 5 Miler (York, PA): Club sponsor Don Morrison of Chester County Running Store and recently crowned USATF Masters 12K national champion, will be participating in this event! Sunday, September 26: • IRONMAN Chattanooga (Chattanooga, TN): Wow, a 3rd straight week of IRONMAN tracking for us! This time we have two Gators racing including Christina Pitchford and Doug Raab (who will be participating in his first full IRONMAN event!)... Go Christy and Doug! • Marshman Triathlon (Downingtown, PA): In this popular local late season sprint triathlon, there will be two Gators racing including Gregg Heimer and Shawn O'Malley...
