Despite high winds, there were several interesting and locally
difficult-to-find birds in the Easton sector of the Westport CBC today.
There was a continuing PINE WARBLER at Aspetuck Reservoir (two there
yesterday), and VESPER SPARROW (4), WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW (2), WILSON'S
SNIPE, E. MEADOWLARK, and LAPLAND LONGSPUR (in horned lark flock) all in
the orchard at Trout Brook Valley Preserve.  Ruby-crowned Kinglet
(Aspetuck), E. Towhee (TBV) and 5 Bald Eagles (Aspetuck and TBV) were also
nice to see.
