From Stefan Martin:
03/31/14 - Stamford, Holly Pond -- 10:15; 20 Bonaparte's Gulls and a
Nelson's Gull sitting in the grass next to the pull off and not camera
shy.
Greenwich, Greenwich point -- As many as 5 adult Northern Gannets
close to shore at Byram Beach in Greenwich. 2 of which are hunting
deep in the harbor and practically flying overhead!
Stratford, Park Blvd and York St -- LITTLE GULL viewed in feeding
group of gulls right offshore.
Stratford, Long Beach -- around 4:30; 17 Northern Gannets (adults)
cruising the coast.

03/31/14 - Stratford, Russian Beach -- 6:05 PM; LITTLE GULL (apparent
adult in winter plumage) first found by Stefan Martin was still in
water offshore with large number of plankton-feeding gulls. Thanks
Stefan! Also present were 2 male EURASIAN WIGEONS.
Broad St creek near Ferry Blvd -- 2 RED-NECKED GREBES.
Long Beach -- 3 Northern Gannets, Iceland Gull (continuing 2nd-cycle).
Short Beach -- ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK (light morph) hunting old landfill,
later seen flying NE over Housatonic River to Milford Point.

small pond.

from the small pond in the field.

03/31/14 - Morris, Anderson Rd -- 6:00 PM; Northern Shrike still
present.

03/31/14 - Stratford, corner of Ferry Blvd and Broad St, near
Stratford Marina -- 2 Red-necked Grebes.

03/31/14 - Wallingford, Whirlwind Hill Road -- 20 Wilson's Snipe at
the farm field where the geese have been.

03/31/14 - Enfield, yard -- Fox Sparrow at my feeder area.

03/31/14 - Farmington, Farmington Meadows -- 2 TUNDRA SWANS behind
model plane field.

as of 5:52 PM.
